HOW TO BID AT OUR AUCTION
BIDDING AT AUCTION
Our live, online auctions are conducted throughout the year. Auctions start at 12PM EST on a Saturday, advertised several weeks before the sale. In addition to online bidding, we also have the option for telephone bidding and in house absentee bids or "left bids" to help our buyers feel confident in their bidding.
ABSENTEE BIDDING
For buyers unable to participate live in the online auction or on the telephone, Vero Beach Auction, offers the option of leaving Absentee Bids. Absentee Bids work exactly as if the bidder were in the auction bidding up to a pre-determined price limit. This bid will be confidentially entered by the auction clerk. Our auctioneer will bid on your behalf alternately against other bidders until the bidding ends. In the event that the other bidders drop out before reaching the full amount of your left bid, you will purchase the lot at the next increment. We recommend to submit completed and signed bid forms to us no later than 4PM (EST) on the evening before the auction.
INTERNET BIDDING
Vero Beach Auction catalogs are hosted through Liveauctioneers www.liveauctioneers.com.
You can bid using a web browser live during auction sessions by either clicking on the “Bid Live Online” button on our website or registering before the auction. We recommend registering at Liveauctioneers.com before the sale to ensure you are set up to bid.
TELEPHONE BIDDING
Interested in bidding on the telephone with a trained staff member? One of the most efficient and best ways to secure bidding is via telephone. Please fill out and email the completed form. It must be received no later than 4PM (EST) on the day before the auction. Upon registering, an experienced staff member will call you the day of the auction approximately five lots before yours is scheduled to be sold. They will communicate with you what bid the auctioneer is asking for and execute your bids at your discretion. Please note, we do not accept international bidding via the phone.
